Funmall at coimbatore was found in 2012. It’s owners are Essel Group. It is located at avinashi road.All your needs are fullfilled here.

This mall consists of 4 floors. Ground floor is dedicated to parking.
First floor is some dedicated to shopping dresses, ice-creams, Burgers etc.
Second and third floor is dedicated to dresses and shopping of many materials.
Fourth floor is dedicated to Food Court and Movies. You can Enjoy a wide variety of foods.

Brookfields at coimbatore was found in 2009. It’s owners are M Balasubramaniam, director of Mangal Tirth Estate, which owns the Spencer Plaza mall in Chennai . It is located at Brookbond road.All your needs are fullfilled here.

This mall consists of 5 floors. Ground floor is dedicated to parking.
First floor is some dedicated to shopping dresses, ice-creams, Burgers etc.

9. Siruvani Dam

Siruvani dam which is located  in Palakkad District, Kerala within 50 kms from the town. It was  constructed on the Siruvani River, for supplying water to the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The dam is surrounded by jungle and forests. There are lot of wildlife which lives here. Muthikulam hill is situated side of the dam. The waterfalls and the Dam are big tourist attractions. Very Old which means 150-year-old Pattiyar house is on the sides of the Siruvani flow. The location being in the state of Kerala, the project was executed by the Kerala Public Works Department using the funds made available by the Tamil Govt.

8.Kovai kutralam

Kovai Kuttralam is a lovely place to visit in the season, between June – November. The place is within the reserve forest region, you need to walk 4 kms to reach the falls. The force of water depends on the monsoon rains. The forest adjacent to this falls are full of wild animals such as Elephants, Leopards, Panthers. The forest officials vacate the place of visitors before 5:00 PM. There are incidents of people trampled by Elephants in this region. Also the Water falls are very dangerous and adventurous in the upper region. It is mostly safe in the down, where cement blocks are constructed for safety.

7. Monkey Falls

The Monkey falls is a roadside stop situated 65 kilometers (40 mi) from Coimbatore and 29 kilometers (18 mi) from Pollachi on the Coimbatore – Pollachi – Valparai main road next to Arutperunjothi Nagar and Azhiyar Valparai Forest Department Check Post of IFS. Monkey Falls is a famous and popular tourism spot. Monkey falls is an ideal place for little children and adults to take a bath.

Ticket fee is Rs 30 to enter inside the falls vicinity.

6. Aliyar Dam

The Aliyar Dam was constructed during 1959-1969 across the Aliyar river, mainly for irrigation purposes. Aliyar Dam was inaugurated on 2nd october , 1962 ( Gandhi Jayanti day) by then Prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, K Kamaraj, the CM of TN state presided over the function. The project was commissioned in September 2002 to generate Hydro Electric Power.

5. Eachanari Vinayagar Temple

Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is a temple dedicated to Hindu god Vinayagar, situated near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is situated about 12 km from the city of Coimbatore on NH 209.

4. Perur Patteswarar temple.

This ancient temple was built by king Karikala Chola. History reveals that, the great poet Sundarar, has sung the devotional ‘Devaram’ song in this temple by the 7th Century. During the rule of Raja Raja Chola, ‘Artha Mahal’ and ‘Maha Mahal’ were constructed. In addition to this, there were regular donations from the Chola king, which were documented on the temple walls.

From the 14th to 17th Centuries, it is to be noted that the kings from different dynasties like Hosala dynasty, Vijanagara Empire, Nayakkar Kings have contributed immense donations for the maintenance of this temple. The famous ‘Kanaga Sabhai’ was built around the 17th century, by Azhagathiri Nayakkar of Madurai.

1. Marudhamalai Murugan Temple

Marudamalai is one of the 13th century mountain god temple which is dedicated to god Murugan, near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, . It is considered as the 7th House of Lord Murugan.  Murugan temples, mostly the temple is situated upon a hill, part of the Western Ghats about 12 km from the city of Coimbatore. Thai Poosam and other Murugan festivals are celebrated. The name ‘Marudham’ is derived from the native trees marudha maram (Terminalia arjuna) present in the hill where the temple is situated and ‘malai’ in Tamil language is meant hill or mountain.
